MODE OF DRESSING

Whereas there is no standard mode of dressing in most Universities, different institutions have different preferences and guidelines.

It is therefore prudent to find out before you report if there is any regulation on dressing in your University. Even in cases where there is no out right guidelines on dressing code, you need to use your common sense to decide which attire is appropriate for where, just the way we do not expect someone to go to church in a swimming costume, there are some outfits that are out rightly not appropriate for lectures, church, formal meetings etc.

Some courses also require you to dress in a certain manner e.g. formal or dark colours. Others require c certain attires e.g. have lab coats, aprons etc. find out if your course has any requirement.

On the overall be modest in your dressing. For example a nice pair of jeans and a simple top/ Tshirt would be more ideal for lectures as opposed to micro mini skirts and crop tops or revealing dresses that also make you feel uncomfortable.
